Oh, wow! That mobile phone salesman singing brought a handful of tears to my eyes. Thank you for sharing it!
lillianb: wasn't it beautiful? the after watching that video, i searched for all the video from that show where he sang, watched the finale, and truly, i am obsessed. i bought his album. haha! the thing is, he has a great voice, but what makes it even more beautiful is his story and who he is. love it. love him. love his voice.
Hi - Sarah...that food court musical!!! I'm still waiting for the tater tot coated hot dog...
Interesting article on food photography, though I watched a special from the Food Network once where all video food commercials has to actually be 100% edible. (Blowtorches are OK, not so much the motor oil & cottonballs; one producer lamented having to break open hundreds of frozen dinners to get all the perfect peas, meat & starch).
if you guys liked the mobile phone salesman guy (who was amazing), check out youtube and enter his name. along the right side you'll see related clips to the runner-up - a 6 year old named connie. watch her initial try-out.
kirkk: wow. tater tot coated hot dog. you realize now that I will dream about it tonight. WHY MUST YOU TORMENT ME LIKE THIS?
h.c.: hey, who said motor oil isn't edible? haven't you ever actually eaten at mcdonald's?
anonymous: i watched ALL those videos, and to be quite honest, while connie is undeniably adorable, i didn't think she was particularly special in any of her performances. but man, that paul potts...
Re: 5. The Dirty Tricks of Food Photographers.
Deodorant and cotton balls aren't so bad... I once saw a video of a food photographer using a microwaved tampon.
