Very, very cool. Although, I think you are too clever in your own submissions. Since you only get a few words to add to the photo, I think it is better to be clearer what it is I'm looking at. I might click on a beautiful cupcake based just on the photo, but I think you might need a simpler description if you are posting a photo of say, noodles.

I noticed you've been pushing it everywhere you get a chance! :)

I really like it. The best part is I can enjoy the pictures and if something seems particularly interesting or tasty I can click through to the original post to read more. I have way too many blog feeds in my news reader as it is, this way I can see some of the best that's out there without adding them to my list of feeds.

What a fantastic way to survey a ton of blogs at once. It's brilliant!

The ONLY possible way this could be better is if the site was in Super-Smell-O-Vision!

It's not, is it? Oh, that must be my dinner upstairs.

jay: thank you! but credit for the design, layout and all of The Pretty goes to my PiC (that's "partner in crime" for the laypeople) notcot. ain't she a genius?

catherine: long time no see/read! hope to see some submissions from you!

eliot: well, you know. i crush hard.

neil: but you know they're noodles, right? who doesn't know a noodle?!?!

franmag: glad you like it, and yes, i can't help but ocd-ly talk up things i love. you know, kinda like that girlfriend whom everyone has who will not shut up about her new crush ;)

homesick texan: thanks! and are you really homesick for texas? i hear you. sometimes i miss cincinnati. then again, maybe it's just that i miss my high school days.

acme: yeah, we thought about it because we DO have the super top secret technology because we are brilliant like that, but do you know what macaroni and cheese and cupcakes and mcdonald's and kimchee all smell like together?

smellovision would be good - but it looks so pretty anyway! How do you deal with submitters who take sucky pictures?

I have to admit I loved it. I also feel like I abused it by posting one of my own picture. But its beautiful and a great gathering of neat photos and food. A terrific resource!

This is awesome! Bad enough I always get hungry whenever I visit your site but this one is practically making me drool.

How did I never see that bulgogi taco thing before?

PS- Just noticed you mentioned Cincy. I'm a native and returned here two years ago (I call the Oakley neighborhood home).

I'm just about to leave work and grab some Skyline Dip. Perfect for this weekend's Super Bowl party...

Cheers!

it took me awhile to figure out why your page looked all wrong on my firefox. it turned out it's because i'm using the adblock plus addon which has a filter for "espotting.com" which unfortunately catches your site. just thought i'd let you know in case you hear anyone else saying the same thing.

incidentally, it also took me awhile to figure out how to contact you. might want to put a link on the About page.

It is a brilliant idea... and somehow a pic of mine ended up there... I think you might have had something to do with it and, if so, thanks so much!

I just happened to come across this blog searching for cupcake recipes and I simple LOVE IT. I even added it as a link of my own blog! Do you cook too or do you just eat? Because if you just eat (and not cook) you are just like me. Thanks for great anecdotes!

Fair Trade Coffee is an organization that protects the laborers who work hard to bring you great coffee. Fair Trade Coffee is produced a bit differently from regular beans, but still ensures that the beans are of the highest caliber.

In the United States people drink a lot of coffee, from cappuccino to espresso. Most people couldn't face a day without their morning cup, but most people have no clue how coffee is made. Fair Trade Coffee helps bring information on this process to the many coffee drinkers in the U.S.
